Position:
We are looking for a Microsoft Dynamic NAV/D365 BC Functional Consultant to join our expert team of high-performance professionals who are motivated, focused, and ready to hit the ground running. Some initial job tasks will include but are not limited to:
Essential Job Duties:
- Configuring, developing and implementing Microsoft Dynamics NAV software and components in all functional areas
- Work with internal stakeholders to understand the technical requirements and scope out modifications and custom development
- Creating functional requirements and functional specs based on user specification
- Converting functional requirements to technical specifications and design documents
- Making technical recommendations for installation, modifications and custom development
- Planning, designing, developing, maintaining and supporting NAV business systems.
- Testing functionality against business requirements
- Analyzing, documenting and suggesting system enhancements through communication with users, management and customers / vendors to meet business goals and satisfy business and technical requirements.
- Developing curricula, organizing and delivering formal training on NAV functionality, including customizations and add-ons
- Dealing with complex situations, including troubleshooting, issue resolution and critical support
- Maintaining / administering security settings for NAV users; responsible for overall application security
- Providing pre-go-live and post-go-live support
Minimum Qualifications:
- Proven ERP Implementation Experience: Expertise within the Manufacturing, inventory, and distribution modules for all the applicable stages of deployments (gather requirements, design solution, setup & configure test & train, document & communicate, deploy & troubleshoot)
- Excellent Communication, Collaboration, and Interactive team Management skills
- Polished, Professional, and Confident Presentation and Public Speaking skills
- Ability to partner with client team resources and subject matter experts to confidently lead requirements gathering and design work sessions translating needs into requirements and designs into solutions that makes sense and adds value in support of client goals and objectives
Skills/Abilities Preferred:
- 5+ years of working experience with NAV Manufacturing, inventory, and distribution
